About HIV Counts
HIV Counts is a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) dedicated to supporting HIV case surveillance – providing vision and direction for staff, program organization and data collection, use and analysis in the United States as well as globally. We can assist prevention and care programs that use HIV surveillance data to fully understand what the data say and how best to use it to inform programs directed at prevention of HIV transmission and care of persons living with HIV.
Examples include:
- Support progress towards achieving the goals of Ending the HIV Epidemic
- Facilitate implementation of Effective Interventions such as Data to Care and HIV Cluster Response
- Strengthen health department HIV surveillance program adherence to Surveillance Guidelines
- Provide guidance for efficiently collecting and evaluating relevant laboratory and clinical data
